British lnt’l School Founder,Biodun Laja Has Died

Celebrated educationist , Dr Abiodun Laja is dead. The founder and Executive Director of the Lekki British School, Lekki, Lagos died last Sunday, 26 May, in a highbrow hospital in the United States.
According to reports gathered, Dr Laja has gone to the US to have a back surgery operation done. The operation, though was successful,but few days after the operation,she suffered a cardiac arrest,resulting to her death
She died at the age of 69 and is survived by two sons and many grandchildren, as well as her sisters,one of whom is Chief (Mrs.) Kofo Olugbesan, a former top official in the Custom, Chief (Mrs.) Olukemi Nelson, prominent politician and National Woman Leader (South West) of the All Progressives.Her death has come as a shock to many of Lagos social establishment,who were looking forward to celebrate her 70th birthday.
